Filmsticks Gripsticks Medium ClapperBoard Kit w/ Grey Scale Chevrons -EU Version

Filmsticks Gripsticks Medium ClapperBoard Kit w/ Grey Scale Chevrons -EU Version | A slate for clear take references

Give each take a clear visual marker for the edit, with a clapperboard that helps keep production notes tied to the right shot. The Filmsticks Gripsticks Medium ClapperBoard Kit w/ Grey Scale Chevrons -EU Version is a medium-size clapperboard kit for film crews and video makers who need to mark takes on set. Its title identifies this as the EU version, with grey scale chevrons. That’s the specific combination to look for if those details matter to your setup. A clapperboard has a straightforward job: make a take easy to identify and provide a visible clap point that can help align picture and recorded sound. It’s useful wherever several takes need to be reviewed later. The title gives the size as Medium, but no dimensions, so I wouldn’t use that label alone to judge how it will fit a particular rig or workspace.

Using a clapperboard on set

Before a take, the slate can be marked with the scene and take details used by the production, then shown clearly to the camera. The clap creates a reference point that can be matched with the sound recording during editing. That simple routine helps the editor find the right take and line up picture and sound without relying on memory alone. It also gives the crew a moment to check that the slate is visible before filming proceeds. This is practical set equipment rather than an effect or camera add-on: its value comes from creating a repeatable reference during filming. If you’re comparing slates, the supplied name points to a Medium Filmsticks Gripsticks kit with grey scale chevrons and an EU version. Those are the identifying details available here; the product name doesn’t tell us the board’s dimensions or what else is included.
