Yongnuo YN60 Soft LED Lamp - RGB WB (2000 K - 10000 K)

Yongnuo YN60 Soft LED Lamp - RGB WB (2000 K - 10000 K) | Set the mood with colour or white light

Give a scene a warmer, cooler or more colourful look with the Yongnuo YN60 Soft LED Lamp. It’s an RGB LED lamp with a stated white-balance range of 2000 K to 10000 K, so you can choose between coloured light and different white-light tones. That makes it suited to photographers who want to shape the feel of a studio setup rather than rely on one fixed light colour. The range runs from warm at the low end to cool at the high end, giving you room to match a scene’s mood or the look you have in mind. Its “Soft” name points to a softer-light approach, though the title alone doesn’t tell us how that effect is produced. If colour and adjustable white light matter more to you than a long list of technical extras, the YN60 is a focused option to consider.

Choosing a light colour

Start with the impression you want in the picture. A warm white tone can lend a scene a cosier feel; a cooler tone gives it a different, more neutral-looking direction. RGB adds the option to use coloured light when white illumination isn’t the look you’re after. The useful point here is the breadth of the stated colour-temperature range: 2000 K to 10000 K gives you a wide span to work across, rather than a single white setting. In practice, you can decide on the look first, then choose a tone within that range. The product name tells us the broad options, but not the lamp’s brightness or how its settings are operated, so we’ve kept this description to what the name supports.
