ilford-mgw-24k-17-8-x-24-0cm-100-vel
Ilford MGW.24K 17.8 X 24.0cm 100 Vel

Ilford MGW.24K 17.8 X 24.0cm 100 Vel | Photo paper for planned prints

Ilford MGW.24K 17.8 X 24.0cm 100 Vel gives you 100 sheets of photo paper in a 17.8 x 24.0 cm size. It’s for photographers who want to make physical prints and have a particular sheet size in mind, rather than choosing paper by a finish or printing process. The pack quantity is handy if you expect to make more than a few prints; you can work through a set of sheets without buying them individually. This listing is best suited to someone who already knows the paper they need for their printing setup and wants this specific Ilford size. A sheet’s dimensions are a straightforward detail, but an important one: they help you plan the space a print will occupy. If you’re comparing photo paper, start with the size and quantity, then make sure the product matches your intended use.

Choosing this paper

Think about where you want the finished print to sit: the sheet size gives you a concrete starting point for planning a display, album page or other presentation. Keep in mind that the paper dimensions describe the sheet, not necessarily the area of the image on it. How much of the sheet your image uses depends on how you prepare the print, so leave room for your own layout decisions.

The pack contains a substantial run of sheets for repeated printing or a group of images. That can be useful when you want consistency across a set of prints, provided this is the size you’ve chosen for the job. I’d focus on that practical match first; the product name and size are more helpful here than guessing at a paper surface or printing method. The product is identified as photo paper, so the key details to compare are its listed size and quantity.

Technical Specifications

Product: Ilford MGW.24K

Category: Photo paper

Sheet size: 17.8 x 24.0 cm

Quantity: 100 sheets

Colour: Black
