The 135mm focal length gives pleasing subject compression for portraits and distant subjects, and the f\/4 maximum aperture keeps the lens compact and manageable. Isco-Göttingen was a respected German optical manufacturer, and this lens reflects that tradition with solid all-metal construction and a smooth focus ring. In M42 mount, it fits a wide range of film SLRs and adapts easily to modern mirrorless cameras.
