The very fast f\/1.2 aperture is exceptional for a cine camera, letting you film indoors and in dim light where slower lenses struggle. The 4x zoom runs from a wide view to a moderate telephoto, and the built-in macro allows close-up filming of small subjects. Sound recording on the film, automatic exposure and cartridge loading keep operation simple, so you can concentrate on your subject. A characterful piece of Japanese cine history.
