Radius RAD XLR Cable w/ Lemo Connector (Length: 200mm)
Radius RAD XLR Cable w/ Lemo Connector (Length: 200mm) | A short link for compact audio rigs
Radius RAD XLR Cable w/ Lemo Connector is a 200mm cable for audio setups that need a short connection between XLR and Lemo equipment. It’s suited to sound recordists and audio technicians working with gear that uses these connectors, especially when the connection needs to stay close to the equipment rather than run across a larger space. The short length can help keep a compact rig neat, with less cable to gather or route around nearby components. Use it where the XLR and Lemo connection points are close together; it’s not intended as a long cable run. Its purpose is specific and straightforward: provide a compact cable link between these two connector types. If that’s the connection your setup calls for, the 200mm length keeps the link contained.
A compact connection
In a tightly arranged setup, a short cable can help avoid leaving an unnecessary loop between connected pieces of equipment. This 200mm lead is best considered for connections made at close range, such as between adjacent parts of a compact audio rig. Plan the layout around that reach: the cable gives you a short link, not extra distance to reposition equipment. Keeping that distinction in mind makes it easier to decide if its length suits the placement you have in mind.
Specialist Note
The short reach keeps setup tidy when the connected gear sits close together, so there’s less slack to manage around a compact rig. At 200mm, this cable is for a deliberate, nearby connection; I wouldn’t choose it to bridge equipment placed far apart. The XLR and Lemo connectors make it relevant when those are the connection points your audio setup uses, so it can serve as a neat link between adjacent components. It’ll suit sound recordists and audio technicians who want to keep a close-range connection contained. Before arranging the rig, place the equipment where you want it and check that a 200mm cable can reach without tension.
