Nitze Lens Adapter Ring For Matte Box MB15AK - 62mm (N28-B62)
Nitze Lens Adapter Ring For Matte Box MB15AK - 62mm (N28-B62) | A matching ring for the MB15AK matte box
Getting a lens and matte box to match can be a fiddly part of putting a video setup together. This Nitze adapter ring is made for the MB15AK matte box, with a 62mm size for the lens-side connection. It gives you a clearly specified ring to pair with that matte box, rather than leaving you to guess which adapter is intended for the setup. It suits filmmakers and camera operators building around the MB15AK who need an adapter ring for a lens connection of this size. Before choosing it, compare the ring size with the connection on the lens you plan to use; the camera body itself isn’t the detail this ring identifies. Its purpose is specific and straightforward: connecting the named matte box with a lens-side fitting that matches. If your setup uses the MB15AK and the appropriate 62mm connection, this is the adapter ring to consider.
Specialist Note
“Does this ring fit the MB15AK?” Yes—that’s the matte box named for it, and the ring size is 62mm. I’d start by matching that measurement to the lens-side connection, not by looking at the camera body; that’s the detail that determines whether this ring belongs in your setup. For a video build, it gives you the specified link between a matching lens and the MB15AK. If you’re changing lenses, use it with one that has the same size connection. The pairing here is specific, so I wouldn’t assume it fits a different matte box. It’s a simple, focused part for a clearly defined setup.
