DJI Focus Pro All-In-One Combo

DJI Focus Pro All-In-One Combo | Four tools for controlled focus

Keeping a moving subject in focus while managing a gimbal and lens controls can quickly become a juggling act. The DJI Focus Pro All-In-One Combo brings together a Grip, LiDAR unit, motor and Hand Unit for a more coordinated focus workflow with the DJI RS 4. Its LiDAR system covers a 70° detection area and measures 76,800 points, giving it a broad field for subject detection and tracking, including in dark scenes. That’s useful for following a person through a dim interior, or keeping focus on a subject moving across the frame. The Hand Unit adds remote control of focus, zoom and aperture, which is especially handy when a camera operator and focus puller are working separately on a complex scene. The Grip, LiDAR and motor form the camera-side part of the setup, while the Hand Unit provides a separate control point. For filmmakers who need more than a basic focus motor, the appeal is having these parts in one coordinated combo rather than assembling the system component by component. It’s a focused kit for building a controlled lens workflow around the DJI RS 4.

Focus-control highlights

• Grip touchscreen: The Grip’s touchscreen puts its controls at your fingertips, so adjustments are available on the handle rather than only through remote controls.
• Automatic manual-lens calibration: The Grip can calibrate manual lenses automatically. That cuts down setup steps when changing to a lens that needs manual focus control.
• 2.5-hour Grip battery: The Grip is rated for up to 2.5 hours of operation and can be used while charging, a useful option for longer sessions.
• Quick motor connection: The Focus Pro Motor has a straightforward coupling process for a quicker start, and its mounting area is made for a secure lens connection.
• Flexible motor placement: You can change the motor’s rotation direction to suit its position on the rig, which is useful when the available mounting space is limited.
• Remote recording control: Bluetooth on the Hand Unit can start and stop recording, keeping that command close to the focus operator.
