Iiyama 32-inch Projective-Capacitive 40-Point Touch Full HD IPS Open-Frame Monitor | A large touch display for integrated installations

Give an interactive installation a broad touch surface that visitors can use directly, without relying on a separate mouse or keyboard. This Iiyama 32-inch LCD monitor combines Full HD resolution with projective-capacitive touch that supports up to 40 points, making it suited to shared displays where several on-screen controls need to respond at once. Its IPS panel is a practical fit for public-facing setups, while the open-frame format is intended for integration into a larger structure rather than use as a conventional enclosed desktop monitor. Consider it for a kiosk, information point or custom-built interactive display where touch operation is central to the experience. The combination is specific: a large Full HD screen, multi-point touch and an open-frame design. It’s a focused option for installations that need those elements together.

Specialist Note

The Iiyama 32-inch open-frame touch monitor is best at making a built-in display directly interactive. I’d consider it for a visitor information kiosk or a shared control screen, where people can tap the interface instead of reaching for a mouse. The 40-point projective-capacitive touch gives an installation room to respond to multiple touch points, which is useful for interfaces designed around gestures or several simultaneous users. Full HD keeps the display at a clear, familiar resolution for on-screen menus and information. Its open-frame construction suits a custom housing, but it’s not the finished, enclosed monitor I’d choose for an ordinary desk setup. Plan the surrounding installation around it.
