Epson EcoTank ET-M3180 1200x2400 39PPM

Epson EcoTank ET-M3180 1200x2400 39PPM | A clear speed benchmark

Slow print queues can interrupt a working day, especially when a run of pages is waiting. The Epson EcoTank ET-M3180 is a printer listed in the Photo Printer category, with a stated speed of 39PPM. That figure gives you a concrete point of comparison if printing pace is high on your list. Its title also gives a resolution of 1200x2400, another useful number when comparing models. I’d treat those as two separate parts of the decision: one is about stated page speed, the other is a resolution figure. This is a straightforward option to consider if you want those numbers in view before choosing a printer. The model name is easy to identify, and the headline figures make the main comparison quick.

Choosing by the numbers

When you’re comparing printers, think first about the job that tends to slow you down. If it’s waiting for pages, the 39PPM rating is the figure to weigh most heavily. If resolution matters more to your decision, use 1200x2400 as the comparison point. Neither number tells the whole story of how a printer will fit your day, so it’s worth matching them to what you actually print and how often. My honest take: a prominent speed figure is helpful, but it shouldn’t be the only thing you consider. The EcoTank ET-M3180’s title gives you a quick starting point for comparing speed and resolution, without needing to decode a long string of model numbers. If those are the specifications you’re prioritising, this Epson is easy to shortlist and assess alongside other printers.
