TTArtisan Tilt 35mm f/1.4 APS-C - Canon RF

TTartisan APS-C Tilt 35mm F/1.4 Lens for Canon RF Mount

The TTartisan APS-C Tilt 35mm F/1.4 lens, designed for Canon RF mounts, transforms ordinary scenes into enchanting miniature landscapes, reminiscent of the fantastical island of Lilliput from Gulliver's Travels.

What does "Tilt" refer to? Unlike traditional lenses that keep the focal plane parallel to the sensor, a tilt lens allows you to selectively focus on a narrow strip of the image, leaving the rest blurred. This is achieved by bending the optical axis, permitting unique positioning of the focus plane. This capability enables photographers to capture diagonal subjects sharply from front to back, even when shooting wide open.

Additionally, the lens provides a distinctive cinematic perspective, perfect for creative video work. The continuous aperture ring, coupled with a gear ring, ensures a smooth operation essential for professional videography.

With a maximum aperture of f/1.4, this lens excels in low-light conditions, allowing for lower ISO settings. The beautiful bokeh, combined with the tilt function, produces a striking miniature effect. The tilt mechanism provides an 8-degree range of motion, with a 360-degree rotation that can be locked every 15 degrees for precise adjustments. The tilt and rotation functions can be independently secured with a separate screw.

Optically, the TTartisan 35mm f/1.4 Tilt features a sophisticated design comprising 7 elements arranged in 6 groups, with manual focus and aperture adjustments. Here are the key specifications:
