Kingston 1TB MicroSDXC Canvas Select

Kingston 1TB MicroSDXC Canvas Select | Room for a substantial library

More room for the files you want to keep: the Kingston 1TB MicroSDXC Canvas Select is a memory card with 1TB of stated capacity. It suits buyers who want a high-capacity MicroSD card and are choosing by storage size and format. That’s what this product is best for: giving your storage decision a clear starting point, rather than promising a particular number of photos or minutes of video. The Canvas Select name identifies the product line, while MicroSDXC identifies the card format in its title. If you’re comparing options, those details make it easier to narrow the choice to the kind of card and capacity you have in mind. One honest point: the capacity figure is useful for comparing cards, but it can’t tell you how many files you’ll keep; that depends on the files themselves.

Before settling on a storage card, think about how you use your files. Do you tend to keep a collection together, or regularly move files elsewhere? Your answer helps you decide how much capacity matters in day-to-day use. The Kingston’s 1TB capacity makes it a candidate for shoppers who want to put capacity high on their list; the name also makes the card format easy to identify when comparing products. It’s a straightforward product to assess on those terms. Match the format to the kind of card your intended device takes, and consider the capacity you’d like available for your files. That’s a more reliable way to choose than guessing at a photo count from the card’s capacity alone.
