If you carry a camera while walking between locations, browsing a market or heading out for a day of photography, that choice of position can suit different moments. It’s also a straightforward option if you’re choosing a strap by how you prefer to carry your camera, rather than by a feature list. Moondust gives this version its own named finish, while Axis 24 identifies the model. The product name doesn’t tell us which cameras it fits, so I wouldn’t assume compatibility from the name alone. If the carrying style and look appeal to you, this is a focused strap option from 3 Legged Thing, without extra claims getting in the way.

Specialist Note

People buying their first camera strap sometimes focus on how it looks and forget to think about where they want the camera to sit. The Axis 24 is specifically described as a neck shoulder strap, so start by deciding which of those positions feels right for your usual walk or day out. For a camera you want to keep close while moving through a busy street, wear it around your neck; for a more relaxed carry between stops, use the shoulder position. Moondust is the named version, so it’s worth choosing it for the look you want alongside that carrying style. I’d treat the camera fit as something to establish before purchasing; the product name alone doesn’t identify compatible cameras.

Technical Specifications

Brand: 3 Legged Thing

Model: Axis 24

Product type: Neck shoulder strap

Variant: Moondust
