The 3 Legged Thing Oscar gives OM System OM3 owners an L-shaped option for changing orientation while keeping the head in its usual position. It’s a dedicated tripod accessory for photographers who often move between landscape and portrait framing, such as when making portraits or composing vertical architectural details. The QD-compatible design is relevant if QD compatibility matters to your existing setup, while the copper finish gives the bracket a distinctive look alongside your camera. Its purpose is focused: a dedicated bracket for the OM System OM3, rather than a general-purpose accessory. If you mostly shoot handheld, its tripod-specific design may have little to add; on a tripod, it can make portrait framing more straightforward.

Specialist Note

Does this Oscar bracket let you frame vertically without turning the tripod head on its side? Yes—that’s the practical reason to choose an L bracket for the OM System OM3. I’d recommend it to OM3 owners who regularly make vertical portraits or architectural images from a tripod: fit the camera in the bracket, then move between landscape and portrait framing while leaving the head in its usual position. The QD compatibility is worth considering if that’s part of your current support setup. And the copper finish is a more individual look than a plain black accessory. It’s dedicated to the OM3, so it isn’t a general bracket for other cameras.

Technical Specifications

Product type: Tripod accessory

Bracket type: L bracket

Camera compatibility: OM System OM3

QD compatibility: QD compatible

Colour: Copper

https://www.htf-store.com/pl/products/3-legged-thing-oscar-qd-compatible-dedicated-l-bracket-for-om-system-om3-copper
