The BORG 7522 M57-M36.4AD is an adapter identified for the M57 and M36.4 connection sizes, giving you a way to join components that use those two sizes. It’s a small, specific piece of a larger system rather than a lens or a general-purpose accessory. That makes it most relevant when you already know which sizes your setup requires and need this particular transition. If you’re organising a BORG-based setup, the model designation gives you a clear reference point when selecting the matching part. Its job is deliberately focused: it addresses the M57-to-M36.4 size pairing, without suggesting support for other sizes. That precision is useful when you’re building a setup from compatible components and want to avoid choosing an adapter by appearance alone.

Specialist Note

“Does the 7522 connect M57 and M36.4 parts?” Yes—that’s exactly the size pairing named on this adapter. I’d look at it when a setup is held up by those two different connection sizes, rather than choosing a broader accessory and hoping it fits. M57 gives you the larger side of the pairing; M36.4 identifies the smaller one, so the designation helps you check the transition you actually need. It suits someone assembling a specific BORG setup, especially when matching components matters more than adding another feature. One honest point: it solves this particular size change, so it won’t address a mismatch involving different sizes.

Technical Specifications

Product: BORG 7522 M57-M36.4AD

Model: 7522

Connection designation: M57-M36.4AD
