This Ilford Tesuki-Washi Echizen 110 pack gives you a different starting point: A2 sheets measuring 420 × 594 mm, with 10 sheets in the pack. It suits photographers and printmakers who already have a particular image in mind and want to work with a large sheet, rather than simply enlarging a print by habit. The name identifies the paper as Tesuki-Washi Echizen 110; the listing places it in photo paper. Its clearest use is for making a deliberate A2 print, where the image and its surrounding space can be considered together. One honest point: a large sheet asks more of the image than a small print does, so it’s worth deciding on the crop and layout before you commit to a print.

Planning an A2 print

At this size, composition deserves a little thought before you send an image to print. A photograph that feels balanced on a screen may need a different crop on a larger sheet, especially if you want breathing room around the image. I’d start by laying out the photograph at the intended print size and checking how the edges feel, rather than relying on a small preview.

The pack contains 10 sheets, so you can plan a small group of prints or allow for a few layout decisions along the way. Keep the finished print in mind when choosing the image: a strong subject and clear arrangement tend to read well at larger sizes. The paper’s name and format give you a specific starting point, but the right image is still a personal choice. If you’re selecting photo paper for a particular print, begin with the size you want to make and consider how the image will sit on the sheet.

Technical Specifications

Product name: Ilford Tesuki-Washi Echizen 110 A2 420x594mm 10SHEETS

Paper format: A2

Sheet dimensions: 420 × 594 mm

Quantity: 10 sheets
