It’s the original-style replacement strap supplied with the G900 series, and it’s also a handy spare to keep ready for your camera. The two-point attachment carries the camera from both sides, while the strap’s adjustable fit lets you set how it hangs. That’s useful when you’re moving between tasks and want the camera close without holding it all the time. The strap is compatible with the Ricoh WG-6 and G900 series, including the G900SE, so it’s a focused accessory for owners of those models. Use it to carry your camera between work locations, or keep it attached for outdoor activities where you want your hands free between pictures. Its plain black finish suits the camera without drawing attention away from it.

Why it is useful

Two-point suspension: The camera hangs from two attachment points rather than one. That gives it a stable way to carry while you move around.

Adjustable buckles: Buckles on both sides let you change the strap length to suit how you prefer to carry the camera. You can set it before heading out, then leave it at that length.

Anti-slip back: The rear surface is made to resist slipping, which helps the strap stay more settled as you carry the camera.

2 cm wide: The strap has a defined width across the shoulder or neck, rather than being a narrow cord.

Lightweight at 19.21 g: It adds little weight of its own to the camera kit, useful when you’re carrying the camera for an extended stretch.

Specialist Note

New owners often underestimate how awkward a camera is to carry when it’s left dangling from a single point; this strap’s two-point attachment keeps it connected at both sides. I’d use the adjustment buckles to set the hanging length before a day of site checks or an outdoor walk, so the WG-6 or G900 sits where you can reach it without carrying it in your hand. The 170 cm overall length gives you strap to adjust, and the two buckles make that adjustment straightforward. It’s a dedicated match for the WG-6 and G900 family, so I’d keep it for those cameras rather than assume it fits other models.

What's Included

Ricoh Strap OST-174

Technical Specifications

Brand: Ricoh

Model: OST-174

Type: Camera neck strap

Compatible cameras: Ricoh WG-6, G900 series, including G900SE

Suspension: Two-point

Adjustment: Buckles on both sides

Length: 170 cm

Width: 2 cm

Weight: 19.21 g

Colour: Black
