Its 4.6-metre reach gives you room to place the connected devices apart, which is useful when a computer and camera need to sit in different positions during a shoot. The cable is made for data transfer, not charging, so its purpose is clear: carrying files between connected equipment.

Use it to connect a USB-C computer to a camera or other device with a USB 3.0 Micro-B port for a tethered workflow. The same connection is useful when transferring files at a workstation, or when your setup needs a longer cable run than a short lead allows. The Micro-B end has a right-angle plug, a detail that can suit a connection where a straight plug would project directly out from the device. Its high-visibility orange finish is easy to pick out among other cables. For tethered work, keeping track of which cable runs to which device is a small but useful convenience. Check that your equipment has the matching ports; this cable connects USB-C and USB 3.0 Micro-B.

Cable Features

USB-C to Micro-B connection: The cable links a USB-C port with a USB 3.0 Micro-B port. That makes the connector pairing explicit when choosing a cable for a tethered file-transfer setup.

Right-angle Micro-B plug: The Micro-B connector turns at a right angle rather than extending straight out from the device. This can be useful where the cable needs to route close alongside the connected equipment.

USB 3.0 data connection: The cable uses the USB 3.0 standard for file transfer.
