This Westcott Scrim Jim Cine bounce fabric gives you a simple way to redirect light in a studio setup. Its 2-in-1 SL/WH design offers silver and white surfaces, so you can choose which side to use as you shape the light falling on your subject. At 1.2 × 1.2 m, it provides a defined area to work with when adjusting the direction of bounced light. It suits photographers and lighting teams who want to manage light with a fabric surface rather than add another light source. The useful part is the choice between two sides in one fabric; you can turn it as your setup changes. It’s a straightforward tool, though getting the result you want still takes a little repositioning.

Using the bounce fabric

Start by placing the fabric where it can catch light and redirect it towards the area you want to brighten. Try the white side, then the silver side, and compare the effect on your subject before settling on a position. Small changes in angle can alter where the reflected light lands, so move the fabric in measured steps rather than shifting several parts of the setup at once. The 1.2 × 1.2 m format gives you a practical surface to position near a subject or elsewhere in a studio scene. It’s a hands-on way to adjust the light you already have, and the two surfaces give you another option without changing the fabric.

Technical Specifications

Brand: Westcott

Product: Scrim Jim Cine 2IN1 SL/WH Bounce Fabric

Surface: SL/WH

Format: 2IN1

Size: 1.2 × 1.2 m
