The SmallRig 3884 Camera Cage, crafted specifically for the Canon EOS R3, is designed not only to provide an added layer of protection but also to offer numerous attachment points. The camera is secured using a 1/4"-20 screw at the base, and is further stabilized by two side-lock adapters on either flank.
This cage is thoughtfully engineered with anti-scratch silicone pads, ensuring that your valuable camera remains pristine upon use. Additionally, it offers unhindered access to buttons, storage card slots, the battery compartment, and the flip screen, ensuring seamless operation even while within the protective cage.
Smart Design & Functionality
The cage flaunts 1/4"-20 and 3/8"16 threaded holes, as well as dual cold shoe mounts which can accommodate microphones, and LED lights among other accessories. The base and left-side contain Arca-Swiss quick release plates, facilitating effortless mounting onto a tripod for both horizontal and vertical shooting.

The camera cage is not merely a protective accessory - it is an extension of your shooting device. The cage allows easy setup with DJI RS 2/RSC 2 stabilizers, thereby creating a quick configuration for both handheld and stabilizer-assisted shooting. Additionally, the two front 1/4''-20 screw holes enable attachment of Dual 15mm Rod Clamp 942, allowing the use of a matte box and lens support. Further, the front 1/4''-20 screw hole is compatible with the 12mm/15mm Single Rod Clamp 3276 for a follow-focus setup. A flat screwdriver is also included to facilitate mounting and dismounting.
