This neutral density (ND) filter features a filter factor of 8x, allowing for a reduction of exposure by 3 stops. With a density of 0.9, it darkens the entire image, enabling photographers to use wider apertures or longer exposure times than typically needed.

By extending the exposure time or increasing the aperture size, users can effectively control depth of field and capture motion more fluidly. ND filters are specifically engineered to maintain color fidelity in images, making them excellent for combination with other filters.
