For a camera setup that needs its batteries mounted together, that’s the central job of this plate. It also has three D-Tap connections, giving compatible equipment access to those connections from the plate. That combination makes it relevant to two parts of a video rig: battery mounting and D-Tap connectivity. You might use it to mount two V-lock batteries on a professional camera, or attach them to another device that accepts this plate. The D-Tap connections are useful when your setup includes equipment with D-Tap inputs. The important distinction is that this is a plate for two batteries, rather than a single-battery plate. FXLion identifies the model as the XH-BP; the product title also specifies D-Tap. For a working camera setup, the basic appeal is straightforward: a dual-battery mounting point and three D-Tap connections in one accessory. It’s a specific piece of rig hardware, so its value depends on needing that battery format and connection type.

What it does

Mounts two V-lock batteries: The dual-battery layout keeps both batteries on one plate.
