The Kaiser Motorized RD Column Mot 1.20m is a tripod accessory for photographers who need that kind of controlled positioning in a fixed setup. Its motorised design is the key point: it’s intended to move the column, rather than asking you to reposition the camera support by hand. The 1.20 m designation gives you the size of the column to plan around when arranging your working space. It may suit copy work, overhead views or other setups where small changes in camera height affect the framing. This is a specialist piece of support equipment, rather than a general-purpose tripod. Consider it when vertical camera placement is central to the job and you want a motorised column as part of the setup.

Specialist Note

For changing camera height without repeatedly resetting the whole support, this motorised column gives you a more direct approach. I’d look at it for copy work or overhead framing: position the subject, adjust the column to set the camera’s height, then refine the composition. The motorised movement is useful when you need to make those adjustments as part of the setup, while the 1.20 m column size is important when you’re planning how much space the arrangement needs. It suits photographers building a dedicated, repeatable working position. One practical point: it’s a tripod accessory, so it belongs in a larger support setup rather than serving as a complete camera support on its own.

Technical Specifications

Product kind: tripod accessory

Column type: RD column

Operation: motorized

Size: 1.20 m
