The Tilta Ta-MBP-K1-V Ing Mini V-Mount Battery Plate Kit I is a shoulder rig for that kind of work, built around a Mini V-Mount battery plate. It suits video makers who move with the camera rather than leave it on a tripod, whether they’re filming an interview or following action at an event. The purpose is straightforward: provide extra support for handheld camera work. It’s a rig for moving shots, not a replacement for a tripod when you need a fixed camera position. If your work calls for handheld takes and you want support at the shoulder, this Tilta kit is designed for that role.

Specialist Note

Supporting a camera by hand can become a distraction during a take; this rig gives you a shoulder-supported way to work handheld. The Mini V-Mount battery plate makes the battery format part of the setup, so it’s best suited to a rig built around Mini V-Mount batteries. For a short interview, settle the shoulder rig into position before framing, then hold that position as you listen and record. For moving event coverage, keep your steps controlled and use the shoulder support as you follow the action. I’d point this toward videographers who need extra support while staying mobile. It remains a handheld rig, so choose a tripod instead when the shot needs to stay locked off.

Technical Specifications

Product kind: Shoulder rig

Battery plate format: Mini V-Mount

Typical use: Handheld video work needing extra camera support
