The Tilta Ta-The-B Top Handle Extension V2 is a black tripod accessory for extending a top-handle arrangement. It suits camera operators who already use a top handle and want to change how far the grip sits from the rest of the setup, rather than replace the handle itself. Its purpose is specific: this is an extension, not a complete handle or a general-purpose support part. Consider it when the handle’s current position feels too close for the way you hold or position your rig. The product name identifies the V2 version and black colour; its stated role is to extend a top handle. If you need a complete handle or another kind of tripod accessory, this isn’t described as either. For a setup that calls for more top-handle reach, it’s a focused accessory to consider.

Specialist Note

“Will the Ta-The-B give my top handle more reach?” Yes—that’s the clear purpose of this extension, and I’d consider it when the grip position in your existing setup is the specific thing you want to change. It suits someone already working with a top handle, for example to place the grip farther from the camera body or give a hand a different holding position. The black colour keeps the accessory visually discreet on a dark rig. V2 identifies this as a later version, but I wouldn’t assume a particular design change from that label alone. One practical caveat: treat it as a targeted accessory for a top-handle setup, not a universal part.

Technical Specifications

Product kind: Tripod accessory

Version: V2

Colour: Black

Product: Top Handle Extension
