Saramonic SR-25C35 Short Adap Cable 35mm TRS F To 25mm TRRS

Saramonic SR-25C35 Short Adapter Cable, 3.5 mm TRS Female to 2.5 mm TRRS | Bridges two connector formats

Without an adapter, connecting audio gear with differently formatted sockets can mean finding another cable or changing part of your setup. The Saramonic SR-25C35 is a short adapter cable for bridging the connector formats named in its title. It suits anyone whose audio setup needs a compact link between a 3.5 mm TRS female connection and a 2.5 mm TRRS connection. Its job is specific: provide that physical connection, rather than add length or act as a general-purpose audio cable. That makes it most useful when the equipment already has the right signal path but the plugs and sockets don’t match. Keep in mind that matching connector formats alone doesn’t establish that every pair of devices will work together; the SR-25C35 addresses the connection, not the wider compatibility of your setup.

The connector labels are worth paying attention to: size and contact format both matter when choosing an audio connection. Before adding this adapter to your setup, compare the connection required by each piece of equipment with the cable’s stated ends. That’s a simple way to avoid choosing by diameter alone. For a tidy rig, a short adapter also avoids adding a long cable run when all you need is a small link between connections.
