OM SYSTEM LC-115 Lens Cap (For EZ-M1540 Pro)
OM SYSTEM LC-115 Lens Cap (For EZ-M1540 Pro) | Keep your lens covered between uses
Without a lens cap, the front of a lens is left exposed while it’s being stored or carried. The OM SYSTEM LC-115 is a replacement lens cap identified for the EZ-M1540 Pro. It’s for owners of that lens who want a dedicated cover to put on when the lens is not in use, whether it’s being packed away or set aside between shooting sessions. Keeping a cap on helps shield the front of the lens from everyday contact and dust. The useful thing here is the specific pairing: this isn’t presented as a universal cap, but as the LC-115 for the EZ-M1540 Pro. If you need a cap for another lens, this product name doesn’t establish that it will fit. For the named lens, it’s a straightforward accessory that helps keep the front covered when you’re not taking pictures.
Specialist Note
Does the LC-115 fit the EZ-M1540 Pro? Yes, that’s the lens named for this cap. The LC-115 designation makes it easier to identify the particular replacement you need, rather than choosing a generic cap and hoping for a match. I’d keep it on whenever the lens is packed away, then remove it before shooting; that gives the front of the lens a cover during storage and transport. It suits owners of the EZ-M1540 Pro who need its specified cap for those everyday pauses in use. The honest limitation is in the name: it’s for this lens, not a general-purpose cap for your camera bag.
