Yongnuo LUX100 Pro LED Lamp - WB (2700 K - 6500 K)

Yongnuo LUX100 Pro LED Lamp - WB (2700 K - 6500 K) | Set the light’s colour to suit the scene

You’re setting up a shot in a room where the light feels too warm, or you want a different colour of light for a video. The Yongnuo LUX100 Pro is a continuous LED lamp with a stated white-balance range of 2700 K to 6500 K. That range makes it a considered option for photographers and video makers who want to choose the colour temperature of their light rather than work with a single fixed setting. It’s also relevant for a simple home or studio setup where you’d like some control over how the light looks in the scene. The useful point is the clear span between the two temperatures; the product name doesn’t give a brightness figure, so its appeal here is colour control, not a claim about output. If colour temperature is the adjustment you’re looking for, the LUX100 Pro gives you a defined range to work with.

Choosing a colour temperature

The 2700 K and 6500 K figures describe the ends of the lamp’s stated range. In practical terms, the lower end gives you a warmer-looking light, while the higher end gives you a cooler-looking one. That makes the range useful when you’re deciding how the lamp should sit visually in a scene, or when you want to shift the look of your lighting without changing the subject or setup. It’s a specific, straightforward reason to consider this model: the colour temperature can be selected across a stated span. Keep in mind that colour choice and brightness are separate considerations. If your decision depends on how much light the lamp delivers, colour temperature alone won’t answer that question.
