7Ryms S.LAV 01 Lavalier Microphone 3.5mm w/ Monitoring 6m
7Ryms S.LAV 01 Lavalier Microphone 3.5mm w/ Monitoring 6m | Keep your voice close, with room to move
Trying to record speech while staying close to your device can make an interview or presentation feel awkward. The 7Ryms S.LAV 01 is a lavalier microphone with a 3.5mm connection, giving you a way to wear the microphone while speaking rather than holding it. Its six-metre cable gives you space to move away from the connected device, which can be handy for a seated interview, a talk or a spoken video. Monitoring is included, so you can listen to the audio as you record and catch a problem while there's still time to address it. This is a straightforward option for people who want a wired microphone and a little more freedom in where they stand or sit. The 3.5mm connection is the key detail to consider: it needs to suit the input on the device you'll use.
Specialist Note
“Can I listen to the recording as I speak?” Yes, monitoring is part of the S.LAV 01, which is useful when you want to keep an ear on your spoken audio rather than discover an issue afterwards. I’d consider it for a sit-down interview or a presentation where the speaker needs to move naturally. The six-metre cable gives you some working room; route it with the distance and movement in mind, rather than assuming you can use every metre freely. Its 3.5mm connection keeps the setup wired and simple, but the device still needs a suitable input. For a fixed speaking position, that’s a practical arrangement.
