Tilta Ta-Nra-36-B Ing 36mm Nato Rail Attachment - Black
Tilta Ta-Nra-36-B Ing 36mm Nato Rail Attachment - Black | More support for handheld video
Handheld video feels easier to manage when your camera has support at the shoulder. The Tilta Ta-Nra-36-B Ing is a 36mm NATO rail attachment for a shoulder-rig setup, intended for operators who want extra support while filming handheld. It’s best suited to video work where you’re moving with the camera or holding a shot for longer, and want a shoulder-rig arrangement to help you keep the camera steadier and more controlled. Rather than treating it as a complete camera support system, think of it as a specific rig component for building out a supported handheld setup. Its black finish keeps the appearance understated alongside other camera gear. If your work depends on handheld movement, this attachment is worth considering as part of a rig built around that way of shooting.
In Use
For a moving shot, use the shoulder-rig setup to give your camera an additional point of support as you follow the action. For a held handheld shot, settle into a comfortable shoulder position before recording, then keep your movement measured. The attachment is aimed at support during handheld video work; it won’t remove camera movement altogether, so steady technique still matters.
Specialist Note
The Tilta Ta-Nra-36-B Ing is a focused rig attachment for adding shoulder support to handheld video work. Its 36mm NATO rail designation gives you a clear reference when planning the rail arrangement for your rig, rather than leaving you to guess what kind of attachment you’re dealing with. The black finish is a quiet visual match for a camera build where you don’t want a bright part drawing the eye. I’d consider it for following a subject on foot or holding a longer handheld interview shot; settle the rig against your shoulder and keep your stance relaxed to help control movement. It’s a component, not a substitute for careful handheld technique.
