Kingston 960GB IronKey Vault Privacy 80 XTS-AES

Kingston 960GB IronKey Vault Privacy 80 XTS-AES | Secure, high-capacity USB storage

What sets this Kingston apart is the combination of a 960GB capacity with privacy and XTS-AES in its product name. It’s a USB stick for people who want a substantial amount of portable storage and place importance on keeping stored files private. That could suit someone carrying work documents or personal files between locations, or anyone who wants a dedicated drive for sensitive material. The name identifies XTS-AES as its encryption designation; it doesn’t give a reason to assume anything about transfer speeds or how the drive is operated. The 960GB capacity is the concrete point to weigh against your needs: it gives you a large amount of space in a USB stick format. If privacy is the reason you’re shopping, this model’s name makes that priority clear. It’s a focused option, rather than a general-purpose description of a drive with no security emphasis.

Who should consider it?

Start with the files you plan to carry and how important privacy is in your decision. If you need a portable place for a sizeable working collection, the stated capacity gives you a clear basis for judging the fit. If your main requirement is simply moving a few small files, you may not need this much space; if keeping files private is central, the IronKey Vault Privacy name and XTS-AES designation are the details to investigate as part of your choice. Think about where you’ll use and store a USB stick, too, and whether this is intended to be your main portable drive or a separate drive for particular files. Those are practical questions, not claims about extra features.
