Kondor Blue KB-C400-BP-BK Canon C400 Cage Backplate Raven Black
Kondor Blue KB-C400-BP-BK Canon C400 Cage Backplate Raven Black | A dedicated backplate for Canon C400 cage builds
The defining choice here is the backplate format: this is a specific component for a Canon C400 cage setup, rather than a general-purpose tripod accessory. That makes the product name useful when you’re choosing a particular part for a camera build. Kondor Blue identifies it as the KB-C400-BP-BK, and the Raven Black finish gives you a clear visual reference when matching it to the rest of your setup. It’s suited to Canon C400 users who are assembling or adapting a cage configuration and need the backplate component. The product is also classed as a tripod accessory, so it belongs in the wider support-rig conversation. Keep in mind what you’re selecting: a backplate, not a complete cage. If you’re searching for this exact component, the model code and camera name make it easier to distinguish from other cage parts.
Specialist Note
Filmmakers building a rig around the Canon C400 are the people I’d point toward this backplate. The camera-specific name is handy when you’re sorting cage components: you can look for the part identified for the C400, rather than choosing something described only as a general accessory. Raven Black gives the piece a dark finish, which keeps the look consistent if that’s the style of your rig. I’d consider it when putting together a C400 cage for tripod-based work, and select it specifically as the backplate component. One thing to keep in mind: this is a single cage part, so it isn’t a substitute for a complete cage.
