The camRade Run & Gunbag Medium is a protective hard case for professional camera setups up to 54 cm long, with a padded interior to cushion equipment on the move. It’s made for transport and storage where knocks, dust or rain are a concern, rather than for carrying a camera casually in a day bag. The structured construction and protective base plate give the case a more supportive shape around your kit, while the interior can be arranged around the camera and accessories. Take it to a location shoot with the camera packed and ready, store the setup between jobs, or move it through a venue on a trolley: a rear attachment makes the case secure on the trolley, and the included shoulder strap offers another way to carry it. The double YKK zippers open the top flap in one pull, so the main compartment is readily accessible when it’s time to unpack. With a 60 × 28 × 27 cm outer footprint, it’s a substantial transport case; check that size against your storage space and travel setup.

Protection for the journey

Nylon exterior: The outer material is nylon, with 1000-denier Cordura specified for the fabric. Two removable dividers separate the kit, and a retaining strap inside holds the camera in position during transport. Two waterproof-material mesh pockets take smaller items or documents; a large front pocket keeps cables and other accessories apart from the camera compartment. The internal dimensions are 50 × 21 × 24 cm, so compare those measurements with your packed setup.

Specialist Note

Can I carry a professional camera in this without packing it away in pieces? Yes: the Run & Gunbag Medium is intended for a camera setup up to 54 cm long, and the interior strap holds the camera in place as you move it. I’d look at it for a location crew moving a camera and its accessories between the vehicle and set, or for storing a ready-to-use setup between jobs. The nylon construction keeps the case practical to carry, while the reinforced inserts and protective base plate add support around the kit. One point to factor in is its size: at 60 cm long externally, it takes up meaningful space in storage or transport. The trolley attachment is especially handy for moving it through larger venues.

What's Included

camRade Run & Gunbag Medium

Shoulder strap

Two dividers

Technical Specifications

Brand: camRade

Model: Run & Gunbag Medium

Type: Hard case

Camera length: Up to 54 cm

Material: Nylon; 1000-denier Cordura fabric

External dimensions: 60 × 28 × 27 cm

Internal dimensions: 50 × 21 × 24 cm

Weight: 2.9 kg

Compartments: Main compartment, two mesh pockets and large front pocket
