Permajet Etching Rag 310GSM A3 25S is a 310gsm photo paper pack in A3, with 25 sheets. It suits photographers who want to produce prints at this size, rather than choosing paper one sheet at a time. The name points to an etching rag paper, but the useful facts here are its stated weight, format and pack size. Those make it straightforward to decide whether it fits a particular print project. I’d start by laying out the image for A3 and checking that the composition works at that size; the paper itself can then be part of a planned print run. It’s a specific format, so it’s best for work that calls for A3 prints, not for someone looking for a mixed-size pack.

Planning an A3 print

Think about the final print size before preparing the image. An A3 sheet gives you a defined page to compose for, so you can make decisions about framing and placement with the finished print in mind. That’s especially handy when you’re making a series and want each print to follow the same size plan. With 25 sheets in the pack, you have a clear quantity to work with for a project or a run of prints. The 310gsm figure is also useful when comparing paper by stated weight. I wouldn’t read more into that number alone: the title gives the weight and format, not a promise about how a particular image will look. If A3 is the size you want, this pack keeps the choice simple.

Technical Specifications

Product: Permajet Etching Rag

Weight: 310gsm

Paper size: A3

Pack size: 25 sheets
