Saramonic’s case is intended to help prevent scratches and bumps during storage and transit. That makes it a sensible companion for interviewers and other audio users who pack their microphone alongside additional equipment. Put the mic away after a recording, then keep the pouch with your audio kit; it gives the microphone a dedicated place instead of letting it rattle around among other gear. The IP67 rating in the product name refers to the microphone, not the case. Think of this as everyday physical protection inside a larger bag, not as an extra weatherproof layer. Its job is straightforward: help keep a small piece of audio equipment protected from contact with the rest of your kit.

It’s a focused accessory for someone who already has the microphone and wants a simple way to carry and store it. Use the pouch between recording sessions, or keep it in your main bag so the mic has a place to go when you pack down. It’s best suited to reducing knocks and scratches in that setting; it isn’t a substitute for careful handling.

Specialist Note

After an interview, as you pack your audio kit back into a larger bag, this little case has a clear job: keep the lavalier microphone from being left loose among other gear. The 3 mm size makes the mic easy to overlook while packing, so I’d return it to its pouch as soon as you’re finished. Its omnidirectional design means you don’t need to aim the microphone toward a speaker in one particular direction, which is handy for interview placement. The IP67 rating belongs to the microphone itself; I wouldn’t treat this pouch as weather protection. For anyone carrying this Saramonic mic with other equipment, it’s a simple, sensible layer against bumps and scratches.

Technical Specifications

Product type: Protective case / pouch

Category: Bags > Case

For: IP67-rated 3 mm omni lavalier microphones

Microphone diameter: 3 mm

https://www.htf-store.com/zh/products/saramonic-carrying-case-for-ip67-rated-3-mm-omni-lavalier-microphones
