It’s an interchangeable APS-C lens with autofocus, made for portraits and events where you want to frame a person clearly without the wider surroundings taking over. On a Fujifilm X body, its 75mm focal length gives the angle of view of a 112.5mm lens on full frame, which helps keep facial features looking natural from a comfortable working distance. The f/1.2 aperture can help in dimmer venues and gives you the option of a shallow depth of field; focus carefully on the eyes, as the plane of sharpness can be narrow at this setting. Its silver finish adds a distinctive look, while the useful appeal is its portrait-friendly reach and speed.

Framing at events

The 21° angle of view makes this lens a considered pick for tighter moments: a speaker at a gathering, a guest’s expression, or a portrait made amid a busy room. It’s less suited to fitting a large group into the frame when you can’t step back. For event portraits, autofocus helps you keep attention on the subject while you work for expressions and brief interactions; for a more deliberate portrait, give yourself room to compose and let the background fall away.

Specialist Note

The silver finish gives this 75mm lens a clear visual presence on your camera, so it’s easy to pick out when you’re choosing a lens for portraits. In use, the f/1.2 maximum aperture is the real advantage: open it up for a softly separated portrait, then stop down if you need more of the face in focus. On a Fuji X APS-C body, the focal length frames like 112.5mm on full frame, so allow a little room between you and your subject. That reach suits head-and-shoulders portraits and candid event moments. I’d pair it with a wider lens if you regularly need environmental scenes or group shots; this one is happiest when your subject gets the frame to themselves.

Technical Specifications

Product kind: Interchangeable lens

Focal length: 75mm

Maximum aperture: f/1.2

Lens type: Short telephoto prime

Mount: Fuji X

Sensor format: APS-C

Focus: Autofocus

Angle of view: 21°

https://www.htf-store.com/zh/products/sirui-sniper-75mm-f-1-2-aps-c-s35-auto-focus-lens-x-mount-silver
