3 Legged Thing Axis Double Sling Obsidian
3 Legged Thing Axis Double Sling Obsidian | Keep two cameras close at hand
Its defining idea is a double-sling setup: the 3 Legged Thing Axis Double Sling Obsidian is aimed at photographers who want to carry two cameras as part of one working arrangement. That can suit event photographers switching between different views, or anyone who prefers a second camera ready rather than packed away. The value is in having both bodies available during a job, so you can move between them without pausing to change the camera in your hands. It’s also worth considering if you regularly divide a shoot between two camera roles, such as room-wide images and tighter moments. Obsidian gives the strap a dark, understated look. The name tells you the intended double-camera format, but not the carrying adjustments or attachment details, so I wouldn’t choose it on assumptions about those. If you usually take just one camera, a double sling may be more than your routine needs.
Specialist Note
Two is the practical idea behind “Double Sling”: it’s for a photographer who wants two cameras available during the same session. For an event, I’d set one body up for wider room views and the other for tighter moments, then switch cameras as the scene changes instead of stopping to reconfigure. The Axis name identifies the model, while Obsidian gives it a dark, restrained appearance that won’t draw attention to the strap itself. I’d consider it for event work or a shoot with two distinct camera roles. If your second camera rarely leaves the bag, though, carrying a double-sling setup may not add much to your day.
