SmallRig 4183 Protective Cage for Sony FX30 / FX3
The SmallRig 4183 Cage is a versatile and protective solution for Sony FX30 or FX3 cameras. By using this cage, you can shield your camera from damage while simultaneously expanding your mounting options. This protective cage boasts a modular design incorporating a NATO rail module and a U-shaped cage module.
The NATO rail is affixed to the top of the structure via two 1/4"-20 screws. This allows you to securely attach the original XLR handle. On the other hand, the U-shaped cage module is held at the bottom using 1/4"-20 screws on both sides, to prevent any twisting.
The quick-release plate of this cage is compatible with several models including DJI RS 2, RSC 2, RS 3, RS 3 Pro, a quick-release plate (elevation pad), and the plate for Arca 3154. The addition of strap holes renders this cage compatible with straps and shoulder straps. As a result, the SmallRig 4183 offers an easy way to expand your rig with diverse attachment points like 1/4"-20 holes, the mounting hole for ARRI, the NATO rail on the side, and an inbuilt cold shoe.
