ACT 1.5 Meters High Speed Cable V2.0 HDMI-A Male - HDMI-A Male (AWG30)

ACT 1.5 Meters High Speed Cable V2.0 HDMI-A Male - HDMI-A Male (AWG30) | A compact HDMI-A connection

The defining choice is its 1.5-metre length: it suits a short connection where you want to avoid running a longer cable than the setup needs. This is a High Speed V2.0 cable with an HDMI-A male plug at each end, so it’s intended for connecting equipment with matching HDMI-A sockets. Its AWG30 designation is also part of the cable’s specification. The appeal here is straightforward: a clearly sized cable with the connector format named up front, rather than an assortment of adapters or ends to decipher. It’s a practical option for a nearby connection between HDMI-A devices. One honest point: the right length depends on the route you’ll actually take, not just the gap between the devices.

Planning the cable run

Before choosing a cable length, measure along the path the cable will follow, including the distance around furniture or other obstacles. Leave enough slack for the way your equipment sits; a measurement taken in a straight line can come up short once the cable is routed neatly. Also look at the sockets on both devices: this cable has the same HDMI-A male connector at either end, so it’s suited to a connection where both sides accept that format. Those simple checks help you decide if its reach and plug type fit your setup. The title identifies the cable as High Speed V2.0, but doesn’t specify a supported resolution or refresh rate, so I wouldn’t choose it on the basis of either.
