ACT 100m HDMI Premium 8K Hybrid Cable HDMI-A Male

ACT 100m HDMI Premium 8K Hybrid Cable HDMI-A Male | For long HDMI runs

For a screen close to its source, a short HDMI cable usually does the job. When the route is much longer, this ACT cable gives you a single 100m cable to work with. It’s identified as a Premium 8K Hybrid Cable, with an HDMI-A male connector. That makes it relevant for setups where those named HDMI details match the connection you need; the title alone doesn’t tell us more about its construction or performance, so I wouldn’t infer extra capabilities from “hybrid”. The key practical point is the length: plan the cable path between your equipment before choosing it, rather than assuming a direct, short connection. It suits people laying out a long HDMI connection who want an 8K-labelled cable and an HDMI-A male end. A long cable run takes some planning, but having the stated length in one cable makes the route easier to assess.

Before you settle on the route, measure the path the cable will actually follow, including the distance around furniture or along a wall. A straight-line measurement between two devices can be misleading once you account for where the cable needs to go. It’s also worth deciding where each device will sit and which direction the cable needs to approach from. That gives you a clearer way to judge whether the stated length fits your layout, without relying on guesswork. Keep the cable path in mind when arranging the rest of the setup, too; changing device positions later can change the distance you need. This is a straightforward point, but it’s the one I’d sort out first for any long cable route.
