ACT 70 Meters 8K DP 2.1 DP40 UHBR10 LSZH Active Optical Cable (AOC)

ACT 70 Meters 8K DP 2.1 DP40 UHBR10 LSZH Active Optical Cable (AOC) | A long optical link for demanding display runs

The defining choice here is optical transmission: this is an active optical cable, specified for a 70-meter run. That length is the point. It gives you a way to plan a long DisplayPort connection between a source and a display, rather than routing a short cable across a desk. The title also identifies 8K, DP 2.1, DP40 and UHBR10, so this cable is aimed at setups where those labels matter to the connection you’re planning. It suits people arranging equipment with a substantial distance between devices, such as a display placed away from the computer or other source. Its strongest fit is a long run for a DisplayPort setup targeting 8K. The honest thing to keep in mind is that a long cable doesn’t settle every connection question by itself: the devices at both ends still need to suit the setup you want to use.

When planning the route, consider the actual distance from one device to the other, including the path the cable will take. The 70-meter figure gives you a clear starting point for judging whether this length is appropriate; it’s not a reason to leave spare cable loosely routed without a plan. Because the product is identified as DP 2.1, DP40 and UHBR10, those are useful terms to compare with the requirements of your intended DisplayPort link. The 8K designation is relevant if that’s the display target you’re building around. Treat each label as part of the cable’s stated identity, not as a substitute for checking what the complete setup calls for.

LSZH is also part of the product name, alongside its active optical cable designation. Those details help distinguish this cable when you’re comparing options for a fixed, longer connection. If your layout calls for a long DisplayPort cable and the listed 8K and DP 2.1 terms match your plans, this model gives you a clearly specified length and format to consider. For shorter connections, the 70-meter reach may simply be more cable than your layout needs.
