Caruba Clamp (w/ 2 Free Inside Rubbers)
Caruba Clamp (w/ 2 Free Inside Rubbers) | Rubber contact for tripod setups
Caruba Clamp (w/ 2 Free Inside Rubbers) includes two rubber inserts inside the clamp, giving tripod users a simple clamping accessory with rubber at the contact area. It’s built for photographers whose setup calls for a clamp, rather than another camera control or support head. The appeal is straightforward: use the clamp where a clamping point is needed, with the inserts sitting inside rather than leaving the contact area bare. That can be handy when arranging a tripod-based still life or organising a small setup around a subject. It suits photographers who already have a specific role for a clamp in mind and want an uncomplicated accessory for that job. This is a focused piece of kit, not a general tripod solution; its value is the clamp and the two inside rubbers.
Specialist Note
A tabletop still life is taking shape in the studio, and a clamp has a clear role in the arrangement. I’d use this Caruba as the clamping point in a tripod setup, with both of its rubber inserts seated inside before bringing it into position. That gives you rubber at the contact area, which is the practical detail that makes this version worth considering. It suits photographers who have a particular clamping job to do, not someone shopping for a broader support system. One honest point: if your setup doesn’t call for a clamp, the two inserts on their own won’t give you a reason to add it.
