Caruba USB-C To USB-C 60W Cable 1 Meter Red

Caruba USB-C To USB-C 60W Cable 1 Meter Red | Clear colour, compact reach

A cable that’s too long can leave slack across a desk, while a hard-to-spot one can slow you down when you’re gathering your kit. This Caruba USB-C to USB-C cable gives you a one-metre lead in red, so it’s easy to pick out and keeps the reach defined. Its stated power rating is 60W. That makes it worth considering when you need a cable with this particular rating, rather than choosing by colour or length alone. The matching USB-C connectors at both ends make the connection type clear. For a camera shop customer, the practical appeal is simple: one short, brightly coloured cable to keep with the equipment you use, or to identify among other leads. It’s a straightforward accessory, and its usefulness depends on whether its connector type, length and power rating suit your setup.

Choosing the right cable

Start by looking at the ports on the two items you want to connect. Both need to accept USB-C for the plugs to fit. Then consider where the cable will sit: one metre gives you a defined amount of reach, so think about the distance between your equipment and where the other end needs to go. The 60W figure is also worth matching against the power needs of your setup; the cable’s rating alone doesn’t determine what power connected equipment will use. If you keep several cables together, red can make this one quicker to recognise. Those checks are more useful than assuming that every USB-C cable will suit every job. Keep the intended connection and the available reach in mind, and you can judge this cable on the details given here.
