DZOFILM Dzo Film Hard Case For Pictor Zoom 3 Lens Bundle
DZOFILM Dzo Film Hard Case For Pictor Zoom 3 Lens Bundle | Protection for transport and storage
For moving or storing a Pictor Zoom 3 Lens Bundle with protection from everyday knocks, dust and rain, this is the dedicated hard case. The DZOFILM Dzo Film Hard Case For Pictor Zoom 3 Lens Bundle is made for a three-lens setup, giving your kit a single protective place between jobs and during transport. It suits cinematographers and camera crews who need to move their zoom lenses between locations, as well as anyone who wants to store the bundle with a barrier between it and the surrounding environment. A hard case is especially useful when equipment may be handled alongside other gear or exposed to dusty, damp conditions. Think of it as a practical layer of protection for getting the lens bundle from storage to set and back again. It’s intended for protecting gear, rather than adding anything to how the lenses operate.
For best results, keep the lens bundle in the case while it’s being moved or stored, instead of leaving it exposed to grit or changing weather. The case’s role is straightforward: help shield the gear from knocks, dust and rain. Don’t treat that as a waterproof rating or a reason to leave equipment out in heavy weather.
Specialist Note
The hard case gives the Pictor Zoom 3 Lens Bundle a firm outer layer, which is useful when the lenses have to travel with other kit. Its named purpose is a three-lens bundle, so it makes sense as the home for that set between calls rather than as a general-purpose camera bag. I’d use it to move the bundle from storage to a filming location, then put it away in the same case afterwards to reduce exposure to dust and knocks. It’s also suited to keeping the set together in storage. One point to keep in mind: protection from rain doesn’t mean you should regard it as waterproof.
