eXtreme Ways Chest Mount Harness

eXtreme Ways Chest Mount Harness | Keep your action camera at chest level

An action camera can be hard to hold steady when your hands are occupied. The eXtreme Ways Chest Mount Harness is a chest-mounted option for carrying an action camera, with the camera positioned at your chest rather than in your hand. It suits people who want to record while moving and prefer a view that follows their upper body. The appeal is straightforward: you can keep your hands available for the activity while the camera stays with you. That makes this kind of harness most relevant when you want a first-person recording without having to hold the camera throughout. The product name tells you its purpose, but not the details of its adjustment or camera fit, so I’d treat it as a specific mounting approach rather than assume it works with every camera.

A chest-level point of view

A chest-level view has its own character. The camera follows the direction your body faces, so turning or leaning can change what appears in the frame. That can make the recording feel closely tied to your own movement, which is useful when you want to document an activity from your perspective. It also means framing depends on how you position your body; this isn’t a view that stays fixed on a subject while you move around it. In my view, that’s the main decision to make: choose this harness for the chest-mounted perspective itself, not because a harness can promise a particular result in every situation. The product name gives a clear starting point, and the simple form is easy to understand: it’s a chest mount harness for an ActionCam accessory setup.
