FALCAM F22 Dual Quick Release Magic Arm Kit w/ 1/4 Plates
FALCAM F22 Dual Quick Release Magic Arm Kit w/ 1/4 Plates | Flexible accessory positioning
FALCAM’s defining choice is a magic arm rather than a fixed support: it gives you room to position an accessory where your setup needs it. That’s useful in filter work, where the arrangement may change as you adjust the rig or move on to a different task. The F22 is aimed at photographers and filmmakers who want that flexibility instead of fastening an accessory in one permanent spot. It’s best suited to setups where an accessory’s position needs to change, such as moving it aside to make room for another part of the working arrangement. The arm-based design gives you a way to adapt that position as the setup changes. This is a focused accessory for building a more flexible arrangement around your filter gear, rather than a universal answer for every mounting need. If you often rearrange your rig, its purpose is easy to appreciate: position the accessory for the job, then change the layout when the job changes.
Specialist Note
At a studio bench, a filter accessory needs to shift position as the setup changes; that’s where this arm-based kit has a clear role. I’d plan around its dual quick-release design: it gives you a way to separate the assembly quickly, rather than treating the arm as a permanent fixture. The 1/4 plates are the key detail for planning, so build the arrangement around that format before positioning the accessory. This suits someone who adjusts a filter rig between setups and wants the mounting position to stay flexible. I’d choose it for repositioning, not as a stand-in for a fixed mount that never needs to move.
