Falcon Eyes Background Cloth BCP-01 2x3 M White

Falcon Eyes Background Cloth BCP-01 2x3 M Black | A simple black field for controlled framing

The 2 x 3 m size is the defining choice here: it gives you a measured area to use as a backdrop without taking over every shoot. Falcon Eyes makes this cloth for photographers who want a black background for portraits, product photos or other subjects that benefit from a darker setting. It’s a straightforward option when you’d rather keep the scene visually calm and direct attention to what’s in front of the camera. The colour is black. That can give a subject strong separation from the background, though the result depends on how you light and frame the scene. At 2 x 3 m, you have a clear, useful working size to plan around. If you’re choosing a background for a specific setup, think about how much of the frame it needs to cover and how far back you can place it. This cloth is best suited to shoots where a plain black field is the look you want.

Putting the background to work

For a portrait, the dark surface can keep the setting from competing with the person in the frame. For a small product, it offers a simple backdrop that puts the object first. Those are visual choices, rather than promises about how the cloth will behave under every lighting arrangement; your lights, subject and framing all affect the final image. A black backdrop can also make dark details harder to distinguish, so it’s worth looking at the subject’s edges and exposure as you set up.

The 2 x 3 m dimensions give you a concrete starting point for deciding whether this background suits your space and composition. Consider the full area you want behind the subject, not just the part visible in a tight test shot. In our view, that’s the practical question to settle before choosing any backdrop: will its size cover the framing you actually use? If your intended shot calls for a black background and this area fits your setup, the BCP-01 is a direct, uncomplicated option.
