Falcon Eyes Controller CO-68TD For SO-68TD
Falcon Eyes Controller CO-68TD For SO-68TD | Trigger off-camera flash
More control over where the light falls can make portraits and product photos feel more deliberate. The Falcon Eyes Controller CO-68TD For SO-68TD is a flash trigger transmitter for firing off-camera flashes, giving you a way to use the SO-68TD away from the camera rather than relying only on light from the camera position. It suits photographers who want to shape a portrait with light coming from a chosen direction, or add a separate light to bring out the form of a product. The job is straightforward: trigger the flash remotely so you can work with its position as part of your picture. That makes it most useful when you’re arranging a small lighting setup and want to keep the flash off-camera. Its stated pairing is specific, so this is a focused accessory for use with the SO-68TD.
Specialist Note
A common first-time flash mistake is leaving the light where it’s convenient instead of where it helps the picture; this transmitter lets you fire the SO-68TD off-camera and work with a more considered light position. For a portrait, try placing the flash to one side of your subject to create direction in the lighting. For a product shot, position it to bring out the shape of the item, then trigger it remotely as you make the picture. The two useful points here are its role as a flash transmitter and its named pairing with the SO-68TD: you can plan around that light, rather than treating this as a general-purpose controller. It’s a focused tool for those setups, not a complete lighting kit.
