Falcon Eyes Honeycomb For Ø90cm FER-OB9HC

Falcon Eyes Honeycomb For Ø90cm FER-OB9HC | Keep softbox light more controlled

When light from a softbox spills onto a background or nearby subject, this honeycomb grid gives you a way to keep it more contained. The Falcon Eyes Honeycomb For Ø90cm FER-OB9HC is a black grid for a 90 cm softbox. It suits photographers who want to direct their light more carefully, especially in a setup where stray illumination can change the look of the scene. A honeycomb grid narrows the spread of light; it doesn’t make the light source larger or softer. That distinction matters when you’re choosing how to shape a portrait or still-life setup. The straightforward detail here is the size: it’s intended for a Ø90 cm softbox. If you’re already working with one, this is a focused accessory for adjusting where its light goes.

A grid is most helpful when you want light on one part of a scene without letting it wash broadly across everything around it. That can make it easier to keep a background darker while lighting a subject, or to limit spill onto another part of a setup. The result depends on the placement of your light and the rest of the scene, so this accessory is best thought of as a way to refine direction rather than as a change to the character of the light itself. Its black colour keeps the accessory visually unobtrusive around the softbox. For anyone building a more controlled lighting setup around a 90 cm softbox, the key point is simple: this is the matching-size honeycomb, intended to rein in light spread.
