Freewell Avata 2 ND Filters - 4pack
Freewell Avata 2 ND Filters - 4pack | Manage light for more controlled footage
Freewell Avata 2 ND Filters - 4pack is a four-filter neutral density set for Avata 2 pilots who want more control over exposure in bright conditions. It suits drone owners looking to use ND filtration as part of their filming setup, rather than relying on exposure settings alone. An ND filter reduces the light reaching the camera, which can give you room to choose a slower shutter speed when the scene is bright. That can help motion in your footage look less abrupt. The four-filter format gives you a small set to work with, while the product name makes its intended camera system clear. ND filters are most useful when there’s plenty of light to manage; when conditions are dim, reducing incoming light can work against you. This set is best considered a straightforward way to add ND filtration to an Avata 2 workflow, not a promise of a particular shutter speed or look in every situation.
Specialist Note
In bright light, ND filtration gives you another way to manage exposure before you start filming. The Avata 2 name is useful here: it tells you which drone this set is intended for, so you can keep the choice specific to your setup. And with a four-pack, you have four filters in the set rather than a single one; that’s handy if you want ND filters close by in your regular kit. I’d consider them for daylight footage where you want motion to feel more natural, using a slower shutter speed when the light allows. One practical limit: ND filters cut light, so they’re less helpful when the scene is already dark.
